I am an evangelical church pastor. I agree with you and I believe in the ideals you're fighting for. I started this fight right after the 2004 elections. My wife run as councilor but lost due to massive cheating and vote-buying by the administration. I am the chairman for administration of Caraga Network of Evangelical Ministers and Churches, organized for this cause. There are over 1,000 pastors here. I have to start right at my backyard. Ours is long-term bro. We think that influencing at least 50% of the 50,000 barangay in RP through the leaders, can help change this country even through elections. This is bringing the fight at the grassroots level - winning the countryside principle, you know. We have some things in common. I also finished AB Pol Sci at the ********** State University, Marawi City in 1983. And I'm also a reserve army officer. I later took up theology and started serving the church. The story is very long... Walang urungan ito Bro. From: Pe.. L. I was here during the 1986 EDSA revolution and now that I am back home, I am appalled to see that we are even in worst shape compared to our condition before the first People Power uprising. Capt. Faeldon, if you are indeed doing this for the sake and welfare of majority of our brother Filipinos who have been used and abused several times throughout the years, then I fervently hope that you succeed in your endeavors. Enough of these thieves who use there positions to rape and pillage the same people who elected them in the first place. The country's political system is not faulty, it is the people who is encroached within the system and who continually abuse the system who must be replaced. More power to you, Capt. Faeldon, and your kind, for the sake of the Philippines and it's people!! From: jay.. r. From: Professionals for Genuine Change Sent: Tuesday, January 24, 2006 11:04 PM To: capt.nicanor.faeldon@gmail.com Subject: statement of support for you and our righteous soldiers Dear Captain Faeldon, I am a rather high profile physician who just formed a group of professionals who share your aspirations for a return of honor and dignity in our country, especially in our leaders. Although I have made my ideas and opinions known through my essays, I must remain anonymous for now as part of this group of professionals.... but I hope only for a short time more. We call our group Professionals For Genuine Change. Below is our statement of support that I hope you can publish in your website. We tried to have it published in the Inquirer as an Ad but they gave us an unuually difficult time to do so. WE had to pull out and will plan to publish in the Malaya instead. We are ready to do our part. IN SUPPORT OF THE ASPIRATIONS OF OUR RIGHTEOUS SOLDIERS WE are a group of PROFESSIONALS committed to work for REAL and NECESSARY CHANGE in our country. Our lives are dedicated to caring for our sick, upholding justice, building our roads, teaching our youth, providing livelihood. We strive to make life better for other Filipinos through the honest and honorable practice of our professions. It is for this reason that we must now state the following: WE refuse to continue to delude ourselves into thinking that true and lasting peace and progress can ever come out of the present administration. WE are sick to the stomach of the lies and cover-ups we have been forced to swallow since the ""GLORIA-GARCI"" scandal first erupted. WE are sick to the heart of the arrogance and the brazen ""gangster tactics"" displayed by Malacaņang and our elected officials allied with the palace. WE are sick to the soul of the damage inflicted by this shameless leadership on almost all our institutions, on our national pride, and on our dignity as a sovereign people. WE wish to HEAL OUR COUNTY; and we know that this cannot be done through the deals and compromises being offered by this leadership. These deals cannot cure the deep rooted cancers that plague our nation. Neither can we heal through the return of discredited and discarded politicians. They too are symptoms of the disease. WE recognize the need to cleanse our present system of so many ills that continue to hold us down- a COMELEC that has lost all credibility; a SUPREME COURT that has been reduced to a rubber stamp of the palace; a HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES where the ""rule of law"" has been mutilated beyond recognition and where the tyranny of numbers has robbed politics of morality and decency; a BIR where extortion has been institutionalized... the list is endless. WE accept our collective responsibility for the present deplorable STATE OF OUR NATION and we heed the call of the times for an END TO APATHY. WE support the aspirations of our RIGHTEOUS YOUNG SOLDIERS who can no longer keep their silence in the light of a prostituted military where deceit and dishonesty are rewarded, and integrity and honesty scorned. They are the TRUE PROTECTORS OF THE PEOPLE. WE will do our share. We have made our choice. PROFESSIONALS FOR GENUINE CHANGE From: But.. I. Sent: Wednesday, January 25, 2006 3:16 AM To: capt.nicanor.faeldon@gmail.com Subject: My birthday wish Dear Capt. It was my birthday when you staged the takeover in Oakwood. For a long time I have been waiting for something like that to happen, but because of the lies peddled to your group by the small girl's handlers, I ended that day broken-hearted. Liberating our country from the tyrannts could have been the best birthday gift ever. I have been following whatever developments arise from your group and I am on the verge of hopelessness and despair until you escaped. Now coupled with the news of your other comrades bolting out really makes me see the light at the end of the tunnel. After the turn of current events, a lot of people have realized that what you and your group stood for has a lot of basis and moral ground. The current palace occupant may be, right now, a force to deal with but may you and your group strike the achilles heel and eventually see the downfall of this corrupt, unjust and unconstitutional reign. God bless you sir and please don't get yourself caught. Butchoy
